The 12th Annual SEDMHA Honda U9 Jamboree will run from Thursday, March 28rd through Sunday, March 31th, 2024 for U9 Developmental, U9 Intermediate and U9 Advancing will take place at the RBC Centre (Dartmouth Four Pad) in Burnside. This jamboree is a wonderful way to close out the minor hockey season.

COMPETITION LEVELS & FORMAT

Hockey Canada and Hockey Nova Scotia has set the standard of play for the Novice Division as half ice rather than full ice games. The format will see each opposing team divide into two groups with one group competing against another on one half of the ice while the second halves of the teams play on the other half ice surface.
 

              U9 Developmental , U9 Intermediate and  U9 Advancing

The Developmental , Intermediate and Advancing levels will play four half ice games consisting of 2 20-minute periods of 4 on 4 skaters. Ice time is limited therefore we must place a limit on the number of teams participating to a total of 54  teams. The entrance fee foall levels is $800.00. All registration is to be done on line. The registration deadline is February 15, 2024. All applicant teams must be registered U9 teams. 
 
         Please note: The Jamboree will provide a U9 Female section at the U9 Developmental level only if there are a minimum of five female teams registered. Any female Intermediate or Advancing teams will be placed in mixed sections.
